February 2004 - Venus & Mars of Loyalty Marketing
Building customer loyalty is a business strategy, not just a marketing program. There are many approaches to earning loyalty that are
deployed by companies around the world. In this lively session, Dennis Duffy reviewed both ends of the spectrum: companies that provide
tangible rewards to build loyalty and companies that provide soft benefits and special communication to build lasting relationships with
customers. There is no single best way to build loyalty, but Duffy will raise some questions you might want to consider regarding your
company and he'll provide some interesting examples that will serve as idea starters for creating or improving your loyalty efforts.
